From 1993 to 2017, Team Icer Brakes contested prestigious championships and races both in the national and international motorsport scenes. Over such a long time frame, Team Icer Brakes entered a huge variety of racing cars such as single-seaters or GT scoring a long list of achievements and resounding results.
Such an extensive racing career includes 231 race starts on four continents and Team Icer Brakes won eight national titles, three vice-championships and three 3rd places.
In the Spanish GT Championship and other international racing series, the Spanish team achieved recorded twenty-nine triumphs and seventy-one podium finishes. Team Icer Brakes has one of the highest start-to-podium ratios stepping onto the rostrum as many as one in three race starts.
Besides, Team Icer Brakes fielded GT cars of famous brands such as Porsche or Ferrari at mammoth events like the 24 hours of Le Mans, the 24 hours of Daytona and the 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps. The most successful car entered by Team Icer Brakes was the legendary Porsche 911 GT2.
At Motortec Automechanika Madrid, Icer Brakes has opened an exclusive stand to celebrate its 25 years in motorsport.For this occasion, the Ferrari 430 GT2 entered at 2007 24 hours of Le Mans is showcased at the stand.
World racing´s car of the future is electric. Current explosion engines will be gradually phased out. So, braking systems will become even more important in motorsports.
