Euro-NASCAR Racecar
In the début of Team Icer Brakes and its driver, Jesús Díez Villarroel, at the Euro-Racecar NASCAR championship, along with Scorpus Racing, the team was on the podium twice: in the Legend classification, won by Díez Villarroel in the first race, and in the Junior classification on Sunday, with the Italian Rocca.
After this first race, Díez Villarroel explained that “it’s been a good weekend, with two podium positions in the Euro-Racecar NASCAR for Team Icer Brakes. This championship is different from the ones that we usually compete in with GT cars, with cars that are also different from the Porsches and Ferraris that I’ve driven lately, but it was a very enriching experience.
Also, in terms of results, I won my category on Saturday and my team mate Niccolo came in third in his on Sunday, so we couldn’t ask for more”. Also, the Chevrolet Camaro of Scorpius Racing that Rocca will be driving for the entire season will be sponsored by Icer Brakes, which means that this company with its headquarters in Pamplona will have full-time participation in the Euro-Racecar NASCAR.
